Tina Turner: What's Love Got To Do With It

"What's Love Got to Do With It" went straight to number one on the Billboard Hot 100, and remained there for three weeks, becoming Turner's first number one hit. As Turner was 45-years-old when the song went to number one, it made here the oldest artist to place a number-one singel on the Hot 100 (Although that record was broken later on, by Cher). The song was honored with the Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance at the 1985 Grammy Awards.
Tina Turner, What's Love Got To Do With It. Private Dancer. Capitol Records, CDP 7 46041 2, 1984.
