The Pointer Sisters: I'm So Excited

Spanning over three decades together, The Pointer Sisters repertoire has included such diverse genres as pop music, disco, jazz, bepop, blues, country, soul, funk, dance, new wave, and rock. When the song "I'm So Excited" first came out, it only peaked at #30 on the Billboard Hot 100. However, after re-releasing it, it subsequently reached #9. The catchy melody and lyrics put this song on the list. It is also included in many shows and movies and people still make reference to it. Some movies it is included in is National Lampoon's Vacation, Working Girl, Hot Shots! Part Deux, and The Nutty Professor. It is obvious this song has been/is influential.
